Hope you had a great Holiday and New Year Celebration. I want to thank everyone for your continued support. 2007 was a long year, and I don't know about you, but I am thrilled to begin 2008 (our 7th year of business!).
This year Neckisses plans to expand. We are currently planning a sales trip to Florida where we hope to get into some new stores. Specifically Lilly Pulitzer stores. One of our most exciting 2007 moments was when I opened the first ever stand-alone Neckisses boutique inside of Cabana, the premiere Lilly Pulitzer Boutique in Santa Monica, CA. It has been a huge success, so we are really trying to find more stores where we can set up shop. Any suggestions please email or post a comment.
2008 is also a year where Neckisses aims to continue building our web presence. We are listed on Facebook, myspace, YouTube, Ubuyo, and of course neckisses.com, but we're also going to also try some new stuff, like online advertising and promotions.
We will continue to email you alerts about fun Neckiss happenings like sales and special events. So, keep in touch as the new year gets going, and let us know what your hopes and dreams are for 2008.

Valentines Day Special
Valentines Day is right around the corner and it's time for you to think about what you would like from your sweetie. The answer is always a little tricky as there are so many things that would be the prefect way for him to show how much he cares. Truth be told flowers are nice, chocolates are ok, and the romantic dinner essential, but nothing says I love you, ALOT, like jewelry. And, although we could all use more diamonds, maybe we shouldn't go for the big daddy so early in the year.
Instead, take the more subtle approach and ask for fun, colorful and hip jewelry that both you and he will feel good about. Yes, that's right, a Neckiss, or 2, make the perfect Valentines Day gift. They're not only gorgeous, wearable and sexy hot, but asking for one won't make you look like you're, oh, how shall I say, greedy. I tend to do that, when asked "what would you like for x holiday", I go hog wild and casually say, "oh, well, I could really use some diamond earrings" or "I have always wanted another pair of Jimmy Choo's", but this ladies, is no good. It's too much pressure and they want to be the ones to come up with the obvious choices.
But, asking for a Neckiss is a nice, mellow request, and chances are he may not know of the company yet, so, it's up to you to tell him. And, what's even better is that he will see you have not only classic and feminine taste, but that you're not trying to squeeze him, in that way, anyway. All of this leads to a great situation: he will feel so good about buying you Neckisses, that he will be the one to go hog wild, buying not just one, but perhaps 2, and maybe even a pair of earrings.
Men love Neckisses almost as much as we do! I don't know what it is, but they really respond to the designs. More times than not, when I'm wearing a Neckiss, men compliment it, and not in a weird "hey baby" way, more like, "where can I get one of those for my wife/girlfriend/mother/daughter?" Off to NYC
I will be heading to NYC on Sunday to show my all new Spring/Summer 2007 collection at the ENK Accessories Circuit tradeshow. The show is at the Chelsea Piers, 94, and we are booth 2847. I'm working like crazy to get everything ready. It was a long week, escpecially after a week long vacation and the Holidays, I mean, who could get anything done those last few weeks, anyway. But, the new year is bringing a fresh bursts of energy...so here I go again. And, check back on the site in a few weeks, I will be launching ALL new Classic Neckisses, plus an amazing and exotic line of Shell Neckisses, that are limited edititions. Anyway, going back to string now...two days left and I am still not finished whipping up these beauties.
